Connecticut’s rich built heritage has a positive impact on Connecticut’s communities and economy today. This study has looked at the programs of Historic Preservation and Museum Division of the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism. Specifically, it has evaluated the last ten years of activity in tax credit and grant programs. We have discovered positive impact on Connecticut and its economy in four broad areas: Jobs, Community Quality, Sustainable Growth, and Leveraging Resources.
